Organizers of this proposed biker event said the group is a quiet, respectful bunch and mayor and council seemed to be agreeing.
Horrendous surprise, next thing I see in the paper, is that they need $300,000 security protection. Surely the attendees are paying?

So far, and with deference to any council member with some doubts, it seems council reveals a shallow capacity for independent thought, resulting in careless risk to our citizens and environment.
