Dix wrong on pharmacare
NDP government Minister of Health Adrian Dix mentioned in a previous public announcement said that pharmacare deductibles would be eliminated effective Jan. 1, 2019, for low income taxpayers with yearly incomes of $30,000 and under. This is not true.
Presently pharmacare pays 70 per cent and taxpayers pay 30 per cent of the prescription cost until the deductible reaches $400 and then only after reaching the $400, taxpayers pay no more for prescriptions.
This is typical of an NDP provincial government, when a minister does not even know what the new policy consists of. B.C. is the only province in Canada that always gives the NDP another chance at becoming the government of B.C. in comparison to the other provinces who have denied the NDP another chance. The other provinces defined politics in B.C. as entertainment with a chuckle. Unbelievable!
