Doughnut congestion is council’s greatest concern?

Why isn’t Township council being more proactive about limiting vehicle emissions?

Editor: Re: “Township councillor warns of congestion,” (langleytimes.com).

Are we missing something here? There is global pollution caused in part by motor vehicles.

We have increasing medicare costs that could be reduced if people exercised more. But the only concern expressed about people sitting waiting for coffee and doughnuts in a line of idling vehicles is what about the 20th vehicle and the congestion it may cause.

No worries, we have a bylaw for that.

Why isn’t the council being more proactive about limiting vehicle emissions?
