Drug pilot program squandering tax dollars

Would the $2 million not be better spent on treatment?

Drug pilot program squandering tax dollars

The federal and provincial governments have just announced a test program to give the drug addicted access to clean “medicine”. I have to wonder if they have thought this through at all.

Is it a) going to help these street people, or b) is it going to create an influx of people to the Valley for free clean drugs? When does this all stop? Would the $2 million not be better spent on treatment? Is no one else fed up with how our tax dollars are squandered? Let’s see, they get free cell phones, free housing, free drugs, free welfare, they leave garbage and feces and needles everywhere, there’s a huge cost to policing and ambulance service, free medical, dental etc. why work?

This country is becoming a soup kitchen and we are running out of soup! Whatever happened to working for what you want? Those who want help should get it, those who don’t should not be supported by the rest of society.
