Vandalism needs to stop

To the youth of Sunshine Valley who have made it their annual tradition to “have fun” with my Halloween and Christmas yard decorations: the decisions you make today reflect who you will become in the near future and you are well on your way to becoming the wrong stuff, if that even matters to you.

I used to live in Surrey and decorated my yard there too until the Surrey “youth” decided to have fun each year with Santa and the boys.

They broke every display light and smashed Rudolph so hard his head broke off the family made plywood reindeer art. I thought that life in a small town, “community (where we all care about one another in a much different way than the impersonal city)” would be so much different, but I guess I was wrong.

I heard your laughter at 2 a.m., but was too sick with the flu to do anything about it. You win, I will take down the rest of my decorations and put them away for good.
