Elected members shouldn’t belong to political parties

Party politics are killing democracy as each party tries to attract voters by propaganda.

Each riding should elect a member to send to Ottawa with no agenda except a good knowledge of the riding’s needs. When they meet, those members should select a prime minister and a cabinet and periodically rework the cabinet to do the work. The needs of the country and the people should be the guidance of the parliament. Not campaign promises.
