Fining man for tiny house small-minded
I read the letter to the editor in Wednesday’s paper, by P. Foot, titled “Leave Man In Tiny House Alone”.
Hearing about this plan to fine a man $1,000 a day for living in his tiny house is the meanest, small-minded plan I’ve seen, especially in these economically difficult times for so many. Just take a look around — the number of homeless and destitute people in our community is growing, and this man is quietly looking after himself in his own place.
I am hoping more people will support this man in his bid to live quietly, and not penalize him for this. Perhaps someone who has enough property would offer him a place to keep his home so he can live in peace.
