We were so surprised and delighted when the creek running through our property started to rise and we had no help that the wonderful men (about 21 of them) showed up to build a sandbag wall to stop the flooding.
These men were from CDR (Christian Disaster Relief) from Armstrong/Enderby area. After a full day’s work they arrived shovels in hand and ready to go.
They worked like trojans. They were the most pleasant, happiest, group that I’ve ever seen.
In about two hrs. they were finished.
We are so thankful for the job they did as we had no place else to turn.
