Forget about it

Why must we always look to change/develop every last parcel of untouched land?

Regarding the quote: “The Okanagan Summer Festival Society for the potential amphitheatre site at Okanagan College has proceeded from its’ location close to a major highway, its beauty and the slope towards the lake. This combination of features is not found frequently.”

So naturally the way the society wants to honour this combination of beauty and slope is to destroy it by building a sight and noise polluting structure?

The gully is the last animal corridor on the north side of Kalamalka Lake. This gully was formed by glaciers thousands of years ago. It is a tranquil parcel of land which is valuable to all.

Why must we always look to change/develop every last parcel of untouched land? There are other suitable parcels of land that would be less intrusive on the environment and residential neighbourhoods while still bringing an economic benefit to the North Okanagan.
