Editor, The Times:
I would like to complain about the fraudulent phone calls I keep receiving.
A few months ago, I complained to the fraud-alert line and they stopped coming for awhile.
Now, they are back again, impersonating Canada Revenue, the police and our grandchildren.
It is so busy on the fraud-alert line that you can hardly ever get through to complain.
I would like to hear about some of these people being arrested and thrown in jail and having their phone privileges taken away.
When Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and his buddies worked on the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, I do not think they intended it to give more rights to criminals.
That seems to be what has happened.
