On June 2, we returned to Vernon from Alberta, all along the Trans-Canada Highway.
From the Alberta border to Sicamous, with one minor exception, gas prices were $139.9 for regular. The exception was $140.9.
Then we get to Vernon and the price is $144.9.
It’s time for the independent stations to demonstrate their independence and show some civic responsibility by ending their policy of setting their prices in lock-step with the oil company stations.
As a point of interest, we gased up in Edmonton and paid $121.9.
