I have to agree with G. Hendry’s letter Oct. 29. It is sad that we have non- taxpayers, who we call homeless, because they don’t want to be members of a working society. It’s an eyesore to drive by and see the parks and walking lanes filled with tents, garbage and people abusing our beautiful parks and walkways.
We need to get rid of all of the elected officials. They have failed us all on many levels, and enough is enough. We all have hearts, but when you keep giving and giving they call it being an enabler, and it needs to stop.
It has been getting worse every year. Please fix the problem and quit using the province as crutch to nothing at all.
Clean up this mess as no one needs people who don’t want to help themselves make our beautiful city a dump site for needles garbage and everything else in there wake.
We can only give for so long. The ones who need to get off their rears are the elected officials. They need to get this done. We pay their wages and enough is enough. Get it done or we will vote for someone who will take action. Enough is enough.
Homelessness is an excuse not to work and pay taxes.
