Going postal over lack of good service

I have a post office box in the Aldergrove postal station. I rented this box because the mail boxes on the street were constantly being broken into.

I was expecting an envelope containing legal documents on July 4, 2011. The envelope had a tracking number and according to the Canada Post web site the envelope was ‘sucessfully delivered’ to the Aldergrove postal station on July 4. When I went to collect it from my mail box it wasn’t there and nobody knew where it was. I never did get this envelope. I had to have a duplicate legal document printed and then signed again by a lawyer.

Next, I contacted Canada Post and someone phoned me two weeks later. This employee didn’t give her name or a contact number. But she said that I should contact the sender of the envelope and ask them to put a trace in the envelope.

It had a tracking number and this employee knew this. She then said “when you do this we will proceed from there”. No name and no number to contract.

Now these people want a salary raise and more benefits…
