Dear Editor,
The Golden Food Bank would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the residents of Field who recently contributed to a food drive organized by Field Elementary School. Our appreciation extends to all the amazing students of Field Elementary and teacher Sue Larose who on their own initiative collected an incredible 45 bags of food (a total of 211 kilograms) in the few days prior to spring break. Way to go Field – your community spirit shines bright and helped greatly to fill our shelves with the kind of nonperishable food that we always need. Thank you for your support and caring!
