Granny grateful for two helpful boys after fall

On walking up Dogwood after my afternoon of volunteer work, I expect I was not picking them up gingerly and took a nasty fall forward.

In my attempt to dust myself off and pick myself up and get going, I was surprised to find two little helpers of approximately 10 and 11 years old helping to make sure that I could stand, etc. One of the boys took some grit off my eyes and forehead and asked if I could see properly. They asked if I needed any help and in trying to keep my composure, I assured them that I was fine and walked on my way.

I did not get their names but hope that they did relate their good deed to their parents that evening. To the mom and dad: be proud of them, they are wonderful kids.
