Bills
The least exciting thing about the upcoming winter: paying for heat. I can’t imagine baseboard heating will be inexpensive, even in my tiny place, so keeping it a brisk 16 degrees and wearing lots of layers is the plan at the moment. Cheers to always being broke, anyone else have these problems?
September Craziness
I think we should celebrate the new year in September. That seems to be when all of the business is at it’s peak! January? No way, everyone is hiding from their credit card bills at home. September is where the real “newness” gets celebrated. New school year, new sports seasons, new club meetings. Who can keep up? Sure feels like I can’t. Bring on October.
Emotions
Anyone know how to turn these babies off? I have too many of them and they are getting in the way of real life.
Bears
To my neighbour who isn’t picking their plums. You know what happens when bears come into town right? Get with it.
Clean ice
Great job on getting that ice resurfacer fixed in time for the Grizzlies’ game on Friday night. One of the biggest hockey nights of the year, full house and the ice couldn’t be cleaned. Apparently this happend last year as well? Luckily the company was good so it didn’t feel like too much of a waste of a Friday night.
Snow
Hooray for the snow on the mountain tops! I don’t even mind the rain down here because I know what is going on up there!
Biking
Cheers to the organisers of the Women’s Enduro on Saturday, Robyn, Jenn and Dana. What a blast!
Wack and walk
Round of applause for the organisers and cooks for the Legion’s golf tournament on Sunday. The weather was half good half awful and the food was amazing. Fun times!
