Growls and hugs for Sept. 5

Someone or something got your hackles up? Or maybe someone made you smile today and you want to give them a bear hug!

Neighbours dogs

Huge hugs to all my neighbours in South Revelstoke below the ski hill. We all have dogs who play and wander a bit and I never have to worry because we all look after each others fur babies. It gives me peace of mind to know my girl is safe.

Middle of the road

Big Bites and Growls to the idiot who tied their dog to a street light on Fourth Street with enough rope to go into the middle of traffic. If you can’t take your dog into safety when visiting then leave it at home!!!

Horse shoes

Horse shoe Hugs. Thanks Gary for the all the makings for a great horse pit or should I say pits – cause now I can make two.

Gazebo

Great happy Growling Gazebo’s. Thanks Chris for your persistence. Now I will have shade AND sun next summer.

Blue skies

Cheers to being able to see the mountains again! Even if it was only breifly, I’ll take rain clouds and fog over smoke blocking my view any day.

Fall

It seems fall is here. Traded in the sandals for boots today! Cheers to fall fashion options.

Office Dogs

A love/hate relationship with office dogs. They are incredibly distracting because of their cuteness, and also distracting because of how noisy they are.

Technology

Sometimes I feel like worshipping my computer for making my life so much easier and others I feel like walking over and talking to a person face to face, or submitting a form via the post office might be a more efficient way to do my job. A suggestion for all businesses, invest in the good technology, it won’t be perfect, but all the money lost waiting on the cheap stuff, or doing things twice because it didn’t work the first time, isn’t worth it.

Silliness

Cheers to the people who embrace their inner silliness. Wear that visor! Dance down the street. Sing along to the radio in the restaraunt, everyone should be having as much fun as you. Thank you.

Short on staff

When a project needs to get done with less hands, it means the other hands have to spend more time doing the work because the project doesn’t get any smaller! Rant to the systems that make it difficult to hire employees in a timely manner and then keep them for more than a few months at a time.

Bears

Rave to my bear bin for keeping the black bear out of my garbage the other day. It’s bear season everyone, let’s keep the bears, and ourselves safe by properly locking up garbage and harvesting fruit.
