As of today my faith in humankind has been restored.
All too often we tend to focus on the evil in people and the decline of the human race.
Partly to blame for that is the news we hear on TV, or what we read in the papers, which often points out all the horrible things that are happening around the world.
Unfortunately, all the kind and wonderful things that happen to us in our everyday life doesn’t get noticed by many.
Today I was shown that there is most likely just as much right in our world as there is wrong.
As I stood in the Shopper’s Drug Mart parking lot I was in a panic; I had realized that I had left my keys, with my house keys attached, in the car and locked the door (I don’t have family in town, nor do I remember any phone numbers off the top of my head), when this unknown, but incredibly caring and generous lady became my guardian angel. She took matters into her hands and took care of absolutely everything.
And all she meant to do was go for lunch.
This kindness I will never forget, and I want to thank her once more from the bottom of my heart.
