As I arrived at the Oceanside Health Centre, the usual problem was finding parking. Others were driving around doing the same thing, so I jumped the curb and parked on the lawn. Four-by-four was helpful.
As I got inside, a volunteer told me to sit in that chair since there were six people ahead of me. OK, but then when one person moved ahead to the next line, we all had to play musical chairs. Didn’t we do this in Grade 1?
Why not give us a number? Guess that would be too simple. So after changing chairs six times, I’m in a new line that’s twice as long. It’s lunch time and now the line is stalled. It took two hours to get this far and I had had enough.
What a dysfunctional system.
