High gas prices

The HST vote has been counted, the Vancouver riot charges are moving at a snail’s pace, and we can once again deal with some of the other issues.

One is the cost of gasoline. Now, I would really like to know how it is that many gas stations in Langley can justify charging over $1.35 per litre? I can buy gas for $1.17 a litre at Station Road Shell in Aldergrove, and $1.17 a litre in Abbotsford. Why is there a 15 cent or more difference?

The cost of a barrel of oil has been dropping like lead, and yet these stations insist on charging high prices, like nothing has changed. Please explain this to me.
