I want to thank The Morning Star and its staff for its diligence and good reporting on the issues of homelessness in our city.
One of the reasons and need for the homeless memorial in Vernon was to advocate on behalf of those who have fallen — to inform and help others to see the people and the issues.
We have a high death rate for a city our size.
Your support of our event helps me to bring to the front this problem.
