We are so grateful for the parking restrictions on Glendenning Road to Mount Douglas Park.
It is a very pretty, narrow road and not designed for heavy traffic. So many times I have not been able to use the walking-horse trail as cars have been parked across it. When driving home down the road I have had to move a parked car’s wing mirror in order to drive by. I hate to think what the fire truck would have done if necessary.
There have been fires several times since we have lived on the street – from fires at the top of the hill and also cars set alight in the parking lot.
There is parking on Cedar Hill Road for access into the park and more spaces could be made available here with a marked handicap spot.
