Re: News Views, Buying Our Votes (The News, April 10).
It’s too bad that the Liberals aren’t trying to buy our votes by investing in our schools. Instead, after a decade of cuts to education, our trustees are contemplating further serious declines in educational opportunities for our children; for example the elimination of full-time librarians from our secondary schools. Libraries could continue to be key to our children’s success at school and beyond but first, we need a change of government. It is time to turf Mark Dalton and the rest of Christy Clark’s Liberals from office and to restore full funding to public education. Our kids deserve it.
