Editor: I have been following your stories on Trinity Western University’s attempt to establish a law school, and a number of lawyers’ attempts to suppress and/or defeat this new establishment. It is all based on paranoia over an oath requirement.

I think I know what has created this paranoia. These naysayers are frightened, lest these novice oath-takers, upon qualifying for the Barristers and Solicitors Oath, may actually bring ethics back to where it has been tragically eroded.
