Letter: Any signs of fences for train whistles?

Re: End in sight for stopping train horns in Maple Ridge.

It is gratifying to see the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News keeping the residents of Maple Ridge informed on the progress being made by the city in stopping train horns, including your article Jan. 11 and not forgetting previous ones.

I don’t think we would be at this stage if it were not for the coverage by your paper.

I don’t see any sign of the fences being constructed, but then I may not be looking in the right places.

In any event, based on previous statements made by the city, I am skeptical that all will be completed in the next few months.

Trump will get his wall/fence before us.
