Editor: I have news for Bill Buck (Parents right to oppose inclusion of SOGI in school curriculum, the Times, June 9) — a boy is not always a boy and a girl is not always a girl.
I am the proud great grandparent of a transgender child and so fortunate that this child has never run into anyone with your attitude.
The schools accept it and everyone has totally accepted this child.
I know he is going to one day run into a narrow minded person like you. You mention God in your letter, the God I have heard about is one who loves his neighbour with no strings attached.
This is 2017, get with it. I really feel sorry for you, you must be a very unhappy person
