LETTER: Churches that held indoor services should heed Paul

Some churches still held indoor services for Easter

The Editor,

On Monday, media reported how, against government health regulations, some churches held an indoor service for Easter.

Clearly some of our Christian brothers and sisters, no matter what denomination, do not heed Paul’s words in the 1st verse of Romans 13, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

In light of this we fail to understand why some Christian churches still continue indoor worship services. Can someone explain?
