Am I being too prudish or just not with it?
Now, don’t get me wrong, I spent a lot of years being around language that curdles cheese. It doesn’t shock, embarrass or upset me. If that’s the way you talk, that’s the way you talk.
However, I was out shopping one day and I stopped in a coffee shop for a little something. I was told what coffee was that day’s feature and shown a written description of the brew.
It had the f-word and I got a wink-wink, nudge-nudge look from the server.
Not impressed.
I took my coffee and snack to a table by shelves filled with coffee bags with the f-word in the wording. Probably won’t rush back there in a hurry.
