LETTER: Column on COVID-travelling hypocrisy was enlightening

Reader says Beau Simpson's column put the issue in the correct context

Re: “Jet-setting politicians sip Mai Tais while police bust tobogganers,” the Now-Leader, Jan. 7.

Thank you, Beau Simpson, for your enlightening column.

I could not have said it better, and I believe they are the true sentiments of most British Columbians. Busted for tobogganing? And for playing a game of pick up hockey? I saw those stories as they occurred and was shocked by them.

Thanks for putting this in correct context. We should all be concerned about these politicians and not forget who they are.
