The Editor,
Re: “Spraying children with a hose doesn’t guarantee a good time,” the Now-Leader, Aug. 19.
I just read Beau Simpson’s column outlining his efforts to endear himself to a bike-riding neighbourhood child.
Please allow me to offer my thanks. I laughed right out loud.
Anyone who has read his work will understand that he would never knowingly hurt someone, which makes the woebegone expression he must have worn even more relatable.
I wish him the best of luck in some day inducing the little fellow and his mom to resume walking down his side of the street, and I ask that he please keep writing.
