Re: “City imposes weight restrictions on residential garbage bags“
The city is changing the rules for garbage pick-up; the weight restriction makes sense to me, but that “city workers will not take bags that have been left inside garbage cans” makes no sense to me whatsoever.
In my opinion having bags left outside a can most likely will encourage bears and possibly dogs to open the bags and strew the garbage around. In particular during the summer months this could be a major problem.
Please re-think this idea.
