Dear Editor:
I have recently returned home to retire in Summerland but have found a few disturbing facts. How fast bike riders come down Peach Orchard Road is one.
I cannot believe the speed on the hill. Lots of them are just blurs.
I thought bikes were the same as a car. I cannot ride through stop signs, yet this seems to be a daily occurrence.
I was not allowed to drive my car on the sidewalk, yet I see lots of bikes.
Let’s share the road safely, please.
