A local man says the head of the country has not been completely honest with Canadians.

LETTER: Langley man chastises PM over immigration

Dear Editor,

PM Trudeau is lying to us about the illegal immigration crisis he brought on to Canada. It seems if you are an honest gangster, you are welcome.

When the USA said it would be unlikely for most illegal migrants to qualify for refugee status, Trudeau issued a twitter message that said Canada would welcome them.

A CBC investigative journalist Charles Rusnell did an excellent job of reporting on this charade. Canada has it’s own Caravan problem that is being under-reported.

Over 38,000 irregular migrants have arrived in Canada since early 2017, most seeking asylum.

Tens of thousands of illegal asylum seekers are just walking across the US border into Canada.

The Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) was behind in processing applicants before this massive overload and now it is hopelessly swamped. It will take years before some get their hearing, but Trudeau having politicized the IRB is insistent on increasing the flood of migrants.

The IRB in trying to fastrack the process are not vetting properly and are approving applicants with minimal screening.

They actually accepted a claimant from the U.S. (walked across the Manitoba border) who admitted to being a Somali Outlaws gang member in Minneapolis, admitted his extensive criminal record and was fleeing an arrest warrant from the U.S.

He fibbed about being gay so (for asylum) he could claim he was persecuted as a gay man in Somalia.

The Canadian IRB officer Trent Cook and a Federal Court judge accepted him on the basis of his upstanding character because he was honest about his criminality.

Turns out he was a bigger career criminal than he told them. Trafficking for pedophiles and girls as young as 12, drug dealer, smuggler, credit card fraud, home robberies, firearms, etc. Violated parole more than 30 times in U.S., and a continuation of similar crimes in Canada.

From our tax dollars, Trudeau is housing them in expensive hotels, giving them $50,000 per family and we provide food, clothing, health care, schooling, etc. This will go on for many years due to the IRB backlog.

This burdens the provincial and municipal resources, puts a tremendous negative overload on our already stressed social services network, lack of supportive housing, homeless accommodations and this will hurt Canada’s indigenous people too.

The takeaway is that we actually don’t know what is coming across our borders, diseases, criminality, etc.

Trudeau said he has a plan to address our growing fears of the international obligations that he has agreed to uphold.

We have seen the start of it with the Liberal MP’s letter writing campaign to the editors.

The propaganda spin is don’t worry be happy, Canada has a robust immigration system that ensures refugee claimants pose no security risk.

They try to calm us by describing and assuring us how the system is supposed to work but not how they are circumventing it.
