Dear Editor:
You’ve probably read the recent ICCC report on Climate Change with the challenging news that we have only a couple of years to avoid the significant problems that a rise in temperature will bring if we don’t make major life style changes.
The Guardian, a British newspaper, has a list of seven things that each of us can do to personally reduce our environmental footprint.
The most important challenge, however, is to talk to your friends and neighbours and form or join groups that will challenge our governments, local, provincial and federal to lead the way. Big business generally won’t do it, until someone forces them into it.
Please consider what you can do to become a more responsible citizen of Mother Earth.
