Dear Editor,
I just wanted to thank the few people who have spoken up again regarding the MSP premiums demanded by our reigning government.
In most cases it is the lower-income workers who take the brunt of the costs that are so out of whack with reality – $30,000 per year same as $130,000. Some kind of interesting bookkeeping here. Do your research and see what our minster of finance had to say. Obviously, his MSP is taken care of. If I may, it seems to me that there is a lot of money available for many things the closer we get to election time.
What I would like to see, and have wanted to for years, is better care to the children aging out of the welfare system (for a lack of the proper wording). And, how about taking care of the poverty of the children and poor we have in our own province.
It’s a shame-on-all that we are in the lead of all the provinces for lack of concern for our most vulnerable. Who will step up and do something? Please…
