Editor:
Such a sad, sad incident at the Pines Bible Camp. I’m sure that all former citizens of Grand Forks, especially those who attended or whose children attended the Pines mourn with the family and friends of Richard. The Pines is held in warm memories by so many of us!
May I respectfully suggest that the board of directors give serious consideration to re-naming the camp in perpetual memory of Richard: something like “The Richard (Rick) Fehr Memorial Bible Camp” on a sign commemorating his life and a side plaque explaining the event would honor him in perpetuity.
Thank you for passing this on to your community!
