There are sections of Kokanee Glacier Road that can be described as reasonable considering the location, however there is an extensive section that is a candidate for Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
Heaven help the folks who unknowingly take a car up to Gibson Lake parking area. By the time they get there if the car still has a muffler intact they are very fortunate. Come on B.C., you can do better than that. You know the area that defies description. Do something about it or at least warn the travelling public that anything short of a Sherman tank should not proceed up the Kokanee Glacier road.
