To the editor:
OK, let me get this straight: In our newly rebuilt Kelowna General Hospital we still have only one MRI machine, and unless you are in critical need of an MRI, you’re on the one to two year waiting list to have an MRI.
Our city council recently gave the go-ahead to have an $800,000 public toilet built in City Park that is only needed in the short summer months.
New MRI machines cost between $150,000 to $500,000 for the high end models.
It sure seems to me that we could have had two new MRI machines that KGH desperately needs than a WC for $800,000.
