Editor: I have lived in Aldergrove for over 27 years and, like many residents in our community, was looking forward to our new recreation centre.
I am disappointed, to say the least, with the hours this new recreation centre will have — 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
I work and leave my home at 8 a.m. and return at 6 p.m. As you can see, these hours will not work for any working adults who work during the day.
I am surprised that the hours are not the same as the rest of the centres in the Township area.
The parking situation is another story; not enough parking, visitors are parking where they can, sometimes blocking driveways.
I was going to sign up for a year membership but unfortunately will be taking my business elsewhere.
