Respect for the individual is a universal imperative needed in the heart, the soul, in Canada, in the U.S. and worldwide.
It is not just that men need to and must treat others, especially women, much better than they do but it also is true for women who are just as likely to be rude, power-mad or abusive in workplaces.
I have been treated worse and more unfairly by women in positions of power than bullying men. I heard the word “kill” come out of the mouth of a bully who is a woman, no man has ever been that abusive.
There is no justification for such words, yet management gets away with it.
