A bouquet to the B.C. government for requiring proof of vaccination to access public spaces, including some businesses, beginning Sept. 13.
And a brickbat to those B.C. businesses already organizing to defy the public health order.
I encourage pro-vaccine people (which really should be all of us) to avoid any businesses that refuse to comply with the directive.
We need to send a strong message to the anti-vax crowd: the Delta variant infects children and if strong measures are not taken, kids are going to be sick. Some of them will get long-COVID and some of them will die.
They deserve protection.
