Dear Editor,
Our president, staff, directors, and friends of the Summerland Food Bank and Resource Centre Society join in thanks to those many kind and generous people who gave food and money over the holiday time.

Your direct gifts to the society and your gifts given through the CBC Food Bank campaign, helped us give an extra holiday hamper of food and necessities to over a hundred clients. We know what we distributed was appreciated because some of those who received gifts came back to tell us after the holidays.
People like yourselves make it possible to continue serving those less fortunate in our community, those who may require our services for a short time due to a temporary difficult situation or those who find themselves unable to make ends meet living on limited income or disability pensions. Individuals and families alike are served and we know it makes a huge difference at a stressful time of year
You residents of Summerland really came through this year! Thank you again for caring, with us, for those who need care most.
