LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Nanaimo unfriendly to business

The Tilray fine is a good example of the city being unfriendly to business, says letter writer

To the editor,

Re: Tilray fined for cutting trees without permit, Sept. 21.

Our family has been in Nanaimo since 1897 and I verily believe it is the world’s most unfriendly place to do business. The Tilray fine being a good example. The city council can’t even agree what day it is. The council should stick to two items: making sure the grass gets cut and cleaning up dog feces on the streets. What a bunch of bananas they are. Disgusted.
