Editor: Once again, ragwort –senecio jacobaea is in full bloom along many Langley Township road verges.
How can we expect land owners to control this hazardous plant on their properties when the Township, year after year, sets such a bad example?
This comment can also be applied to purple loosestrife – Lythrum salicaria and Himalayan balsam – Impatiens glanulifera which are not noxious but equally invasive.
I have notified LEPS of some of the particularly bad infestations.
