Letter: Trump coverage was disrespectful

Dear Editor,

I am thrilled that Bob Groenveld answered my opinion with his.

That’s democracy, alternate views on political reality.

I found the media coverage on Donald Trump and his family over the top biased, vicious and disrespectful. The past dubious history of Bill and Hillary Clinton was ignored. They both had so much baggage that was for the most part let go.

President Obama’s administration and Senator’s from both parties listed the seven “countries of concern that were safe havens for terrorists in need of further vetting.” The existing restriction were in place during the Obama administration. Not the same but  President Donald Trump tried to extend it, hence the turn down.

My question is why  would anyone not want to have the seven Muslim countries out of 46 that are identified by the Obama administration as a danger serioulsly examined?

As far as any irregularities in the vote it seems the Democrats cannot seem to accept they lost. Half the “deplorable” electorate were in my loop and were fed up with the wealthy political elite and tossed them out. I consider the last four years of the Obama presidency the worst ever regarding the future safety of the nation.

I can assure Bob I do not rely on any one source especially a newly elected one that’s been governing for one month. I study all facets of every country in world events. There is a lot going on that is interconnected and so far has very little to do with the newly forming Trump government. I’ve always enjoyed Bob’s alternative view on politics from mine, he’s got his loop and I’ve got mine, maybe they’ll intersect here and there.
