Letter: Use many empty buildings in Hope to house the homeless

I am just wondering why the District of Hope can waste money on the Frisbee park and not help the needy (homeless). There are a lot of empty buildings in Hope. Why can’t the district do something about this? It would also cut down on the crime rate.
