One of Mayor [Jack] Froese’s re-election goals was to work on a tree removal bylaw.
He and council had better work pretty fast or much of Langley Township will be clear cut!
It seems many property owners, scared that such might be forthcoming, are rushing to cut healthy, beautiful, very old conifers – just “because they can?”
Evidence is very sadly seen-just on 240th [Street] from Fraser Highway north to 56th [Avenue], and I’m sure in many other areas
