Re: Legion in financial meltdown (News, March 15)
The story on Sooke Legion’s financial problems bothered me.
So, I went to the Legion for beer and burger night to help raise funds.
I also spoke with president Jan Watson about an idea I have to help.
I am the owner of Viewpoint Painting in Sooke and all the painting jobs I receive I am donating 10 per cent of my profits from each job to the Legion.
I hope other companies can see this cause and follow me.
I am a Legion member and would hate to see it go.
