Let dogs and their owners enjoy the boardwalk and other areas of White Rock as they can, and do, everywhere else.
I feel sorry for this obviously paranoid minority who feel they are in extreme danger of being attacked, bitten or threatened by dogs.
It appears that they also feel that wildlife are threatened. If their concern is for our local seagull and crow population it is misplaced, as both these species delight in tormenting and teasing dogs and are not the least bit intimidated.
I am disappointed at this continuing harassment that only serves to diminish White Rock’s reputation as a welcoming city and support and appreciate the efforts of our council to bring civility, at long last, to this discussion.
