The actions of the hooligans disrupting society through blocking our streets and rail lines has me upset.
The selfish actions of these people creates disruption in our lives and financial costs for companies and the country.
For those of us that honour a democratic system, this is anarchy.
There is no thought here to work through a process of dialogue or vote for change through an election. It is simply a me-first movement to make their wants known by force.
If unchecked, Canada will become a place of whoever can muster the most media muscle wins.
The responses of any level of government so far have been timid and anemic and totally unsatisfactory.
I ask our politicians to get it together and put some pressure on to curb civil disobedience. And that doesn’t mean giving in to the demands of anyone who blocks the streets.
